While searching on YouTube for David Bowie’s Life on mars? I discovered something really amazing. I’m talking about Disney’s Mars & Beyond, a television program from 1957 which speculates about life on Mars. It tells the history of space science first, before getting to the speculations and predicting the future.

It’s interesting to see what they knew and what they didn’t. You have to keep in mind that the NASA was settled only by 1958. This shows us what 50 years of space discovery has learned us. A very interesting view, I surely recommend you to view it. If you only want to see the speculation about life on Mars, than you’ll have to skip part one to four and get right to part five.

I am happy to announce that HelloFromEurope will soon have exclusive looks at upcoming games for the Zune HD platform. These games will be built with the XNA framework, and will not install in the traditional manner. The programmer, Zuner2012 is very excited about this platform. After interviewing him, he commented, “Hello From Europe will be getting alot of new content that other sites just won’t have.” Here is a look at one of his games, Zune Vs. iPod in it’s early development days.
Zuner2012 had ALOT of help from LeeNRo(c)K Studios in early development days. I got a personal sneak peek at a newer Zune HD version, and am quite impressed.

Engadget is asking for your help (vote, actually). They’re keeping their annually election of the Engadget Awards and this year the Zune HD is nominated in the category of ‘Gadget of the year 2009′.
For the moment he iPhone 3GS is the one with the most votes, but there’s no doubt the title ‘Best gadget of the year 2009′ belongs to the Zune HD.
So make sure you vote on this page for the Zune HD.

Beside being nominated in the category Gadget of the year the Zune HD is also nominated as “Portable Media Device of the Year” and the Zune AV dock has a chance of becoming the “Peripheral of the Year”.

Zune HD gets compliments on good looks by MSI

Someone had to be the first and in this case that honour goes to MSI. The company might be known to you as a PC manufacturer, but apparently it has also some skills in copying someone else’s design. It’s pretty obvious that the designers of this MT-V660 were inspired by the good looks of the Zune HD.
But hey, Microsoft, take it as a compliment…

ABi Zune HD glass screen stress test

Over at anythingbutipod.com Grahm Skee did a stress test on the Zune HD’s glass screen. It turns out that the glass screen performed as good as the 120′s did.
