Yina Moe-Lange, the 16 year old daughter of an American Microsoft employee, will represent Denmark at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Yina has a Danish mother and lived from her fourth in the USA, although she’s still a Danish citizen.
The 16 year old teen knew their was a possibility, but the actual invitation came as a surprise because normally only athletes who’re expected to medal are invited. Her age also makes her one of the youngest athletes. She’ll race in the giant slalom and slalom skiing events February 24 and 26, respectively.
